Position Overview
The Lead Caregiver provides advanced personal care services while supporting field staff through supervision, mentoring, and quality assurance. This role combines hands-on caregiving with leadership responsibilities to ensure excellence in client care.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care:
- Assist clients with advanced activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation and laundry
- Ensure client safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
- Follow individualized care plans and report changes in condition
Leadership & Field Support:
- Conduct field visits to monitor caregiver performance and client satisfaction
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to caregivers in the field
- Assist with training and onboarding of new staff
- Ensure compliance with care plans, policies, and quality standards
- Communicate effectively with office staff and healthcare professionals
Qualifications
- Previous experience in non-medical home care (required)
- Experience with advanced personal care (preferred)
- Leadership or supervisory experience (strongly preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license (required)
